FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Elwha Dam RV Park Receives 2009 Best of Port Angeles Award
U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., June 4, 2009 -- For the second consecutive year, Elwha Dam RV Park has been selected for the 2009 Best of Port Angeles Award in the Recreational Vehicle Parks category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
At Elwha Dam RV Park four generations of family continue to provide outstanding customer service to guest by sharing their love of the breathtakingly beautiful Olympic Peninsula area. Their pride of ownership shows in the exceptional attention to detail in maintenance and operation of their outstanding facility. The family and staff will always greet you with a smile whether on the phone or while you strolling through the wooden carvings, gardens or pond areas. Sharing fresh vegetables from the garden, offering a piece of home made pie, or caring for your pet are just a few of the many ways this family will make you feel at home during your visit.
Nationwide, only 1 in 70 (1.4%) 2008 Award recipients qualified as 2009 Award Winners. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.
